On September 30, the new premises of Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen GmbH in Emmerich am Rhein in Germany was inaugurated by Ichiro Sasaki, President of Brother Group, in a ceremony. The new building, which is state-of-the-art in both work and environmental technology, has offices, meeting rooms, a spacious lounge, canteen area and a new showroom. The opening ceremonies were attended by employees of Brother Emmerich and its Bologna branch office and by representatives of the Brother headquarter in Nagoya, Japan.

With the new 1000m2 office building, Brother is preparing for a continuous growth to be expected in the future and the resulting steady increase of employees. Currently, the company offers its more than 60 employees at the Emmerich location, a working atmosphere that meets the demands of a modern, expanding employer.

At the subsequent festivities, the company Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen GmbH was in addition awarded the ‘Brother President’s Award’. The award, which honours the Brother Group’s most successful offices worldwide, has gone to Brother Emmerich for the second year in succession.

“Two milestones for the Brother company in Emmerich in one day: The opening of our new, state-of-the-art building and the re-awarding of the President’s Award for our efforts fill me and all employees with pride and joyful anticipation – we can be proud of what we have achieved in the last few years. We were able to bring Brother far forward and we are looking positively and with confidence to the future with our young and dynamic team in our new premises,” said Jörg Haan, Managing Director of Brother Emmerich.
