Drawing attention to the importance of the exhibition industry at the opening of EVTEKS, CNG Holding CEO Ali Bulut, continued with the following words, “We can transform Istanbul into a new world exhibition center within five years by using the right strategy and resources in the right places. We can bring the power of the exhibition industry back home which has been a source of prosperity for the European cities that host the market of these goods that they do not produce. We can be among the playmakers and one of the biggest shareholders by taking our trade fair organization experience accumulated in our country into new markets such as to developing Africa. Germany, France, Italy, England, and even Spain are successful examples in the exhibition industry. Thousands of Turkish companies participate in the trade fairs organised in these countries every year. Our government transfers significant resources.

from the budget to support these companies. If we invest in the development of the exhibition industry in our country as well, we can take our place among the countries I mentioned above and increase our competitiveness against the European countries.”
