Feizy is coming to Las Vegas Market with a lifestyle message that presents its products in trend vignettes. The company’s vast new product offerings across area rug constructions were designed to cater to an array of customers and a broad range of décor tastes and preferences. The Tonal Textures Group offers a minimalistic take on colour usage, centered on tonal palettes on high-low piles to create a three-dimensional design effect. One example is Breel, a textural, raw silk shag style that is hand-knotted.

The New Neutrals collection encompasses looks in metallic, rich taupes and cool gray colorways punctuated with warm golds and inky blacks on a variety of patterns – from updated traditional to modern. The Lennox collection celebrates the beautiful simplicity of hand-drawn line work, and serves to highlight the artisans behind each piece. Simple shapes and neutral colours are minimalistic, sophisticated and approachable, and create unexpected depth derived from the variation of colour within the pile achieved by space-dying the viscose accents.

The Painterly Hand collection adds the artist touch to its rugs with watercolor effects and subtle shading in both soft and strong palettes. An example is Cecily, a power-loomed addition that features up to 136 different colours. Inspired by Feizy’s upstairs one-of-a-kind hand-knotted rugs, Cecily makes intricate design details accessible with its more moderate price point.

The hand-knotted Reflective Motifs/Detailed Depth grouping represents “some of the most visually stunning additions” to the Fine Collections, Feizy noted. Wexford is inspired by the interplay of light on the ocean, with a palette that mimics the colour gradients found across the range of depths. It is made of a viscose and wool blend.

As part of its continuing commitment to education, Feizy will co-sponsor a CEU class with Las Vegas Market organizer IMC. Entitled “Design It! Connecting the Interiors Aesthetic to the Outdoors,” it will be presented by award-winning designer Kerrie Kelly on July 30. Kelly, who partners with Feizy for the “Coastal Layers” collection of indoor/outdoor rugs, will discuss how to incorporate softer design elements into outdoor living spaces for an elevate look.
