Zucora Home has introduced a new Smarter Living program that offers coverage for traditional home products as well as new services for heating, air conditioning and plumbing. “In addition to our traditional, single-product protection plans, Smarter Living now offers expanded coverage for almost all major home products that are likely to fail or eventually will wear out,” said Brad Geddes, Zucora Home CEO and President. “Smarter Living Plans include coverage of costs for parts, labour and replacement of items found in most households.”

Geddes said Smarter Living Plan covers the costs of such things as wear and tear, pet damage and product failure — with a way to affordably replace home furnishings and appliances when they eventually reach their end-of-life. The plan also provides Zucora Home’s retail partners with a nocost way to retain customers, according to Geddes. When a home furnishing item or major appliance product cannot be repaired and requires replacement, the Smarter Living Plan provides incentives for customers to return to the original retail partner to purchase new merchandise.

The company says Smarter Living Plans can be customized for the type of coverage a customer wants at a monthly subscription rate. And members receive preferred pricing on Zucora Home’s complementary home living items and its PureCare health and wellness sleep line.

Zucora Home has been administering product protection plans for furniture, appliances, and bedding in partnership with Canada’s leading home furnishing retailers for 40 years. The company will showcase its Smarter Living Program at the Canadian Furniture Show at booth 2031 at The International Centre in Toronto from May 24-26.
